more stuff
another thing iteesting about oregon is tat you acn't punp your own gas. every staion is fulll sevice. Joyce was happy as it eliminiated one more of he chores. When we bought the diesel pickup she said that she would be in charge of fillling it up because she is a little more careful about spiilling diesel fuel than i am. so every truck stop she gets out and puts on her gloves and visits with all the truck drivers. she is getting pretty goood at figuring out how to run all the differnet kinds of pumps. she threatens to run off with one of the truck drivers ocasionallly but i havenn't taken he too seriously yet. yester day our trip to mt st helens was kind of neat to see alll the trees that had been knocked over from the blast and how big an area that it covered. teh creek that drins the area is still running gray with volcanic ash. today we are off to seattle and find a campgound . i HAVE BEEN SURFING THE WEB TO TRY TO FIND A SOUP KITCH N TO WORK IN FOR THANKSGIVING BUT HAVEN'T HAD MUCH LIUCK. any way we afre going to amusem this morning(rainy blowey weather) and will travel this afternoon

Lots of soup kitchens in Seattle if you're serious. Ask one of the 'guys' under the bridge along Alaska Way. :-) If not, call Eric. He can probably tell you where to find a good campground too. Sammamish has a nice park and is close to Seattle. Lots of fun things to see in Seattle have fun. Richard could even do some paragliding. John

That means you can delegate another job to her until you get to a state where she can get the gas.
Any ideas?
Full time DJ?
Full time speedometer reader/checker/announcer...wait, she already does that.
Full time oil checker!
Hey Abagail, time difference is two hours earlier than where you are at. We went to a museum that told all the history of how the Columbia river gourge came to be. It really was quite fascinting. It also had a segment about the Oregon trail with Lewis and Clark. A lot of the road we are traveling on is part of the Oregon Trail. Mrs. LaVoie
Abaigail, thanks for the update on girls basketball. You'll get better as the season goes on.
Hola!!
I can see that you are having a great time! I am glad to see that! Have a great Thanksgiving and travel safe! Take care! Lindsay
Joyce,
If you have a chance while you are in Seattle I would reccommend going to the aquarium down on the water front. It is really pretty and they have a lot of cool animals there - if you're into that sort of thing. I really liked it when I went out there a few years ago to visit my uncle and cousin.
