Beringer Winery...Napa Valley

We visited the Beringer Winery, the second winery established in the valley. It made wine continously, even during prohibition. Medicinal purposes, of course. The grounds, caves, home and wine tasting areas were spectacular. Of course there wasn't many in the area that weren't spectacular. The haaaauge, that is extra huge, oak tree has graced the yard since the vineyards inseption. We purchased a special bottle there that we'll share on our Christmas visit back to MN. We'll be arriving in Long Prairie around the 22nd...late. It seems like a long time since we've been home.

This place looks cool! I like old places that have so much interesting history to them!
